The projects goal was to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy, allowing potential tenants to move into the newly constructed office building. To do so the buildings unfinished interior required to be outfitted with a first floor lobby and second floor corridor space, connecting 2 existing stairwells and providing egress to tenant spaces. Responsibilities included developing design drawings and renderings to convey design intentions, including finish and fixture options; Drafting Construction Documents, verifying all design conditions satisfy New York State Building Code Requirements; Preparing and filing Building Permit Applications with local municipality; Providing construction administration and review of shop drawings and submittals to ensure quality control and compliance with construction documents.
